Lighting Test Mark Meaning
Motorcycle lights such as headlights and turn signals have test marks that have different meanings and determine the permitted use.
Lighting without E mark is not allowed in Germany!

Place of admission:
E1 Germany
E2 France
E3 Italy
E4 Netherlands
E5 Sweden
E6 Belgium
E7 Hungary
E8 Czech Republic
E9 Spain
E10 former Yugoslavia
E11 Great Britain
E12 Austria
E13 Luxembourg
E14 Switzerland
Motorcycle headlight version:
A - limiting light
B - Fog light
C - dipped beam
R - high beam
CR - high beam and low beam
C / R - high beam or low beam
HC - halogen low beam
HR - halogen high beam
HCR - halogen high beam and low beam
HC / R - halogen high or low beam
DC - Xenon low beam
DR - Xenon high beam
DC / R - bi-xenon
/ - not turn on together
Tail lights, version:
A - Parking light
AR - reversing light
F - rear fog lamp
IA - Reflector
R - tail light
S1 - brake light
2a - rear turn signal
Blinker/indicator:
Test mark 11 only suitable for the front
Test mark 12 only suitable for the rear
11 + 12 suitable for the back and front
