Clean custom styling for your motorcycle fuel tank! This chrome pop up gas cap combines a sleek, low-profile design with a practical retractable opening mechanism. An excellent choice for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, choppers, bobbers and custom bike projects.

The retractable knurled center grip allows the cap to maintain a smooth, almost flush appearance when closed, creating a clean and stylish fuel tank design.

To open the cap, simply press and turn the center mechanism to raise the knurled grip. The gas cap can then be unscrewed.

Featuring a right-hand thread, this fuel cap is designed for various Harley-Davidson models from 1982 to 1995 and compatible custom fuel tanks.

Important: This gas cap is non-vented! It does not feature an integrated fuel tank vent and must only be used on tanks with a separate, properly functioning ventilation system.

Important Installation Notes

On Harley-Davidson Sportster XL 2004–2006, Forty-Eight and 1200 Custom models, the fuel tank vent tube inside the filler neck may interfere with the gas cap locking mechanism. Modifications may be necessary. Any modification must preserve the correct operation of the fuel tank ventilation system.

Warning – non-vented gas cap!

This fuel cap does not have an integrated vent. Before installation, make sure the fuel tank has a separate, properly functioning ventilation system. Otherwise, excessive vacuum or pressure may build up inside the tank.

Please verify the thread dimensions, filler neck compatibility and tank ventilation before ordering.
